en The win motivated [the girls] to practice better. Everyone's improving.

en [Iona] has motivated the girls to practice hard this week. This weekend is a win-win situation with the opportunity to run at such a prestigious meet.

en You didn't have to get Pat motivated. Pat was motivated 24 hours a day. No matter what was going on in practice, Pat said something to lighten the mood.

en It was great to get everyone some court experience. The girls have worked hard and we want to reward them for their efforts in practice. I'm excited about our younger players and how well are developing. We have seen a lot of improvement in the team thus far and they need to keep improving on the fundamentals.

en The girls practice from 3:15 to 5:30 Monday through Friday, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and sometimes on Sundays. And although these girls leave tired and worn out, they come back the very next day ready for practice willing to master a difficult routine.

en Has some of this been motivated by records? Maybe. Eddie wasn't shy about 800 victories, and maybe passing Dean Smith has a big significance for Bob Knight.
