We had a lot ordsprog

We had a lot of girls returning from last year, and Amanda transferred in, so I knew we could be much stronger. It's my last year and I just want to take us as far as we can go.

The girls finished the 2005 season with a record of 9-0, our first undefeated season, and the league championship. This year's girls group is our largest and most talented team. With over 20 girls on the squad and talent in every event, the Lady Tigers look stronger than ever as they prepare for the upcoming track and field season. Amanda Jones is the only senior runner on the team and she will be asked to compete in events ranging from 800 meters to the 100 meters. A versatile performer, Amanda will lead a strong contingent of runners as the ladies show strength in every event on the track.

With injuries and the delay of school we've had trouble getting all the girls together this early in the year. Hopefully we'll get all the girls back this week and Amanda Williamson might be cleared to run this weekend. And we're still trying to recruit some girls to come out.

He was tough to bring down last year and he looks bigger, stronger and faster this year. But he's just one of many players we have to be aware of because they have virtually their entire starting team returning.

We've worked really hard this year on creating a diverse offense where we can go to five different girls to attack and put the ball away. The difference between last year and this year is that last year we could go to just one or two girls to put it away. Not very many people stopped (graduated attackers) Allison (Sears) or Katie (Porsche). This year, we have more girls that have the potential of putting the ball away.

They've been coming out of the woodwork, which is nice for the future. The girls have the athleticism to make a little noise at the end of the year. It's still a rebuilding and learning year, and while I'm looking for the returning players to improve, Celebration's going to be real strong again.

I will miss all of the girls who'll be graduating this year. But, we have some good returning players that should give us a good nucleus for next year's team.

The last two years we have been a real young team. Last year we started seven or eight sophomores, but this year the girls are maturing and getting stronger and learning the system a little better.

There hasn't been much talk about (last year), which is actually nice. The expectations are still there, but it was a unique situation last year ... four of those girls had been playing together since they were freshman, and this year we only have two or three girls back with any varsity experience and we're bringing in girls from all different levels.

It's different than it was last year. We graduated a lot of kids last year. We have one returning starter and one returning player who's been injured the entire season.

We're a young program. Last year they made the playoffs. This year we have a lot of different girls. Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. Last year was a great experience. The girls have more expectations for themselves this year. We're not looking past this game. We want to keep playing.

We did not have many seniors, so most of our team is returning. We're a year older and we should be bigger, stronger and faster.

I feel very, very comfortable. Last year, this was a tough meet for me and I was discouraged. I knew I had to be mentally stronger this year, so it all came down to mental toughness.

I kind of knew that it would take a while at the beginning of the season because I hadn't played for a whole year, ... I was hoping things would progress and my arm would get stronger as the year went on, and everything I've expected to happen has happened so far.

Being our first year we knew we had a good group of girls. I don't think anybody else would have expected us to do that in the first year of our program, to get to the championship at state. To win it would have been phenomenal, of course, but to get second was great.
