en We felt good coming in here. We were hyped up and playing good defense. We didn't let those (first two games of the ECC tournament) bother us. We made sure to play hard.

en We always have a good time coming to this tournament. We played well and fought hard in our games. The wind made it tough on the hitters, so pitching and defense took over.

en I can't really say I felt fatigued coming home after the (2002) tournament. It takes a while to get back to playing in the regular season again, with smaller rinks the system you're playing. Otherwise I still felt good coming back and playing.

en They're playing hard, we just didn't play good defense. A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care. You can't give runs away in the major leagues, even at the end of the season. You have to play to win every day, and our defense didn't do that.

en It was ugly but a win is a win. I'll take any win we can get. We came out flat and fell behind early. We battled back with four runs in the fifth and five in the sixth. It was one of those types of games where we didn't play well. It's hard to win games when you don't pitch well and don't play good defense. We hung around and didn't quit. That makes me very happy. The kids have started to believe they can win, even when things are bad. That's a major step in the right direction.
