We always have a good time coming to this tournament. We played well and fought hard in our games. The wind made it tough on the hitters, so pitching and defense took over.

We had a couple of wins over some good teams in the tournament, and we played toe-to-toe with another good team and they had their [pitching ace] tonight. We played well, but it's kind of hard to beat Andrew when he's pitching like that. A lot of clubs have a tough time winning when he's pitching. I can't say nothing bad on the way we played. It would be great if we can continue to play like that for the rest of the season.

We felt good coming in here. We were hyped up and playing good defense. We didn't let those (first two games of the ECC tournament) bother us. We made sure to play hard.

He fought hard ... made life very tough for me and I am very pleased with this win, ... The whole second set he played really good tennis ... he was very tough. But in that third set I really played some unbelievable tennis. This is one of the best matches I have played on Centre Court.

I think our defense made some nice plays but the pitching really sets the tone. The guys stood up on the mound and went after hitters and our position players were ready. We had some timely hitting. Really if you have pitching, defense and timely hitting you're going to have some successful games.

We gave everything we had. All the games were hard-fought games. It was also showing that our lineup had trouble scoring runs against real tough pitching.

It was a good, hard-fought battle for both teams. Holy Cross's defense made it tough for us. We just had to step up to the plate.

I told them after the game that I wasn't really mad at them, because we played really hard. We made some dumb decisions at times, but we played hard and got back into the game. The attitudes were good on the floor, because we have had some attitude problems. But we got out and hustled, and fought and fought and fought. And we had a chance to get back into the game.

They come out and played very good defense and made it hard for us to get catches. There post defense was a lot better then it was the last time we played them and that was the huge difference in the game. It was a hard-fought game. It was a great win for our kids. We didn't play well early, but they dug in. We really played good defense in the second half, and we made a lot of good hustle plays tonight. Every one of them was important for us.

We were blown off the floor in every way from top to bottom. Classical was tough in the post, they made shots, and they played very good defense. We played okay for a 5-to-8-minute stretch, but we played poorly at both ends. It's just one of those games that you'll have to throw in the barrel and move on.

We're getting good quality pitching and we're probably playing the best defense we've played in four years. We have some good hitters, but we haven't put it together yet. We could. Once we get experience under our belts...

It feels good. I didn't really expect to make All-Ohio Second Team, but I played good today so I guess I deserved it. ... The course played real hard today. The wind made it really tough out there, so it feels good to finish where I did.

I felt so good coming out of Spring Training. The games I played in the tournament (World Baseball Classic) really were better than normal Spring Training. I saw good pitching and I've been able to carry that into the season.
