He is such a great team guy. He told us that he intends to come in and win the No. 1 job. But he also told us that, if he doesn't win that job, we will find no bigger supporter of John Grahame. From everybody that we spoke to, Sean is an unbelievable teammate and a great leader in the locker room. He is a great addition to our team.

They weren't real nice out there during the game, but before and after they have been great. It's good to come back and see a lot of family and friends. I love the city. I love the people, and my experience that I had here was great. A lot of memories.

It's exciting. It's a great feeling talking about it and not being afraid to say, 'Yeah, we have a good team, and we're going to be capable of competing. It's great to see everybody thinking that way. I think everybody's committed to this team because of the talent we have.

It's been a great year. I've got a team that plays the way I love to coach. I love to full-court press. We play five guards. We love to run. I've got a team that shoots 50 percent, and I love shooting the basketball. This has been a fantastic team. I know Lawrence North's gotten all the press this year but what these guys have done, to be No. 2 in the state, win 20 games and hopefully some more . . . they've just been unbelievable.

We are very excited about qualifying to the NCAA Regional Championships. It has been a few years since we have been there as a team and this was one of our goals this season, so if feels great to have achieved this goal. Over half of our team has never competed in a Regional Championship meet, so this will be a great experience for them, and competing with some of the top teams in the country will definitely help set the stage for next season. Anything can happen on any given night. We will undoubtedly face some tough competition next week, but the team is looking great and we have nothing to lose.

When you're on a synchronized skating team, you make a lot of friends, so instead of competing by yourself and feeling the emotion of winning or losing or just working hard by yourself, you share it with other people.

The only person I told was [director] Gary Griffin. She took her jet in, we hid in the next room. And I came in and asked the cast to get on the stage and said 'Someone called me out of the blue about a week ago and said they really love the show and heard great things about it from friends and she wants to get involved and I want you to meet your newest producer.' I actually love competing away. The team is all together, there are no distractions, we stay in the hotel together, we eat together and go to the gym together. It's sort of like you are invading someone else's territory.

I love watching him play and then you compete against him. Obviously the quarterbacks don't compete against each other, but as a team, you're competing against the team that he leads.
