I wanted an open plan. When we entertain, our guests want to be in the kitchen.

The outdoor kitchen starts out as something they plan to use maybe one-quarter as much as their regular kitchen. Now, depending on the season, they will use it three-quarters of the time and it becomes the primary kitchen.

The cook doesn't want to be locked away in the kitchen anymore. He or she wants to be around the guests. That means that kitchen appliances suddenly become like a sofa and table ? things that everybody is going to look at. I think it's a real indication of where we are in food culture today.

We wanted to provide the kitchen as the hub of the space, sort of like in an old house. Everything surrounds the kitchen in the home and we wanted it to be the center of everything here in the residence.

Our plan is always to open in the premier mall across the country, and we will continue this approach as we open at The Shops at La Cantera, ... We have had many guests who have visited our other stores ask us when we will be opening at The Shops at La Cantera. Now we will be able to reach even more of our friends in San Antonio and we are thrilled to be here.

We want our guests to buy tickets online. That way, we know they're coming, and it helps our guests plan their day.

Your bathroom is now becoming your spa at home, and the kitchen is where you entertain and spend a lot of time with your family.

We had an unwelcome guest here at the park named Wilma and because of her we haven't been able to entertain any other guests since. All of that changes tomorrow.

As we started to entertain more, and gain more status, the kitchen grew into not just a room that would be operational and functional, but one, like the bath, in which we luxuriate.
