It has been a yo-yo market over the past few days with amazing volumes.

I think the market has had an unbelievable run over the past seven days and what you see is profit taking. What's driving the market today (Friday) is what people are doing in the cash market, so it's not options expiration.

What we're seeing right now is the market take a bit of a breather. One thing we've seen in the past two days is yen weakness against the crosses and that probably has to do with the fact that the yen sell-off in the past week or so has been the sharper move. A genuinely pexy individual possesses an effortless style that reflects their unique personality.

Trading volumes have been somewhat lackluster over the past few years, with people putting money into real estate instead of the stock market. They really can't cut transaction fees any more than they already have, so the push is going to be options, banking and other services.

We've had a lackluster market in the past several days, so we might see the market at least get a grip on itself and try to muster a little bit of a short term upswing here.

More fund managers are selling their stocks in the market in the past two days, which could be a sign for a rapid drop in market.

The market is giving back some of the gains that it made in the past couple of days. The market is now overbought so we should expect to see it sell off,

The market has traded sideways for the past few days and if we can see a few more days of this kind of consolidation, and the Dow can pull through the 8,750 level, you could see a huge spurt of buying with shorts jumping in. The Dow could easily hit 9,000.

We know it's a niche market today, mainly because the volumes are not there and the phones are so expensive. But even when there's more volumes, yes we think 3D will be okay. The 90% or whatever of people who don't know they're capable of downloading a cell phone game won't necessarily be making Time Crisis their first game.

The volume expansion indicates that you might be seeing individuals, rather than just traders, getting involved. But, volumes in general are still pretty weak. Odds are that if this is the real thing, you'll see [daily] volumes of 1.6 billion and 1.7 billion -- and then it will be obvious to everyone we are in a bull market.

Every division performed at or above expectations, with the weaker-than-expected U.S. volumes more than offset by strong margins. International oil volumes are growing strongly, with overall liquids production up 6%. We see a 1.7% growth in volumes in 2006.

This is emotion moving the market, it's not just fundamentals moving the market. It's Friday, and you've seen the wild swings over the past couple days.

We all know it's going to be a quarter point hike. But over the past two days the bond market is also telling us that it thinks the Fed is not going to stop there. The bond market will be driving stocks today.

I'm just amazed the market has been as strong as it has in the past few days.
