I think today was ordsprog

en I think today was the big day. I think we really realized that we needed to come out in the first half.

en At halftime, we realized we needed some defensive stops if we wanted to get ourselves in the game. We're a second-half team ... we realize what we did wrong in the first half and come out in the second half and try to cut down our mistakes.

en They're a good team. They came out and hit some shots early. I don't think our kids realized that the game is four quarters long. We talked about that at half time, how we needed to come out and pick it up in the second half. I said some things I can't repeat here, but we needed to pick it up.

en I think we really realized we needed to get down and do our business. We kept them close with fouls in the first half. After that we realized we wanted it. We wanted this game so much.

en I think I kind of realized in the second half that it was easier to penetrate, because they were overplaying so much. I think I just realized it too late. In the first half, I was just trying to get us in our offense.

en I learned about adjustments in 2003. I played terrible in the first half, but I didn't let it get me down. I kept working and realized that I needed to be looking at a career not a season.

en There was no doubt about it out there today, San Diego is the better team. We didn't make any of the plays we needed to in the second half. They made an awful lot, especially in the second half.

en This game was lost by us in the first half. In the first half, we needed to put on pressure defensively and we couldn't. We needed to rebound and we couldn't. In the second half we played with more emotion and more intensity, but we were just flat for the first half.

en I told the girls at the half that we need to have someone step up. We needed to maintain possession and that's what we did. We came up sluggish in the first half and we needed a momentum shift. Sarah's goal was huge because it got us going. From there we came back hard in the second half and were able to get a win.

en We played really well today. We were very unselfish and passed the ball well. In the second half, we made the necessary adjustments and it really feels good to get this first one on the road.

But, when you've got 60 points in the first half, I guess that can happen from time to time in the second half.

en We came out with the plan and focus that we needed to win to keep our roll going. In the first half, we did what we needed to do, but in the second half, we experimented with some things. I was disappointed that we didn't finish some things in the second half.

en I think we noticed it as a coaching staff, and the players realized we needed the role players to do their job in order to be successful. I don't know if outsiders realized how truly valuable they were, but we did.
