We're in a bad crunch right now. We are totally jammed on immigrant visas, the green card category, and totally jammed on H-1B visas. You can't bring in tech workers right now.

We want visas to be issued from here from January, ... this will save people of Karachi from the trouble of going to Islamabad for getting visas.

We are not against safeguards for L1 visas, but new restrictions should not be adverse. We agree L1 visas should not be misused. But the process should not take too long.

For the last few years, we've been totally jammed, there was no time for the teams to practice. Although the building looks like a big empty arena, indoor soccer fields are very expensive to build. If they cost $200,000, you'd see one on every corner.

We should only issue work-related visas if we really need them. There are 2.5 million native born American workers in the math and computer field who are currently out of work. It begs the question whether we truly need foreign workers.

You could easily take some aspects of the INS, like green cards, and put that with Labor (Department) because they are more employment-related. Visas could move completely to the State Department.

We're just going to bring it up to date. It hasn't been totally remodeled. We've done a lot of smaller remodel jobs on it, but it's been 20 years since it's totally been gone through. So we're going to redo it and bring it all up to date.

Rather than creating conditions that allow American workers to fill jobs at higher wages, what the president is proposing merely converts low wage illegal aliens into low wage workers with visas. A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care. Our economy would have to adapt if the influx of cheap foreign labor is ended, but that is an adjustment strongly desired by a majority of Americans, whether native-born or foreign-born. The concept that our economy must be served by a permanent under-class of foreign guest workers is reprehensible and unacceptable.

The current system doesn't provide for enough visas. It's plagued with an enormous backlog and doesn't provide enough visa categories to support the U.S. economy's demand for workers.
