They swam really well against a 5A team. We're in a good place for this time of season.

Bobby cut some time in the fly and got a good second-place finish there. He added time in the 50, but he won a big race for us. Toward the middle of the meet, I thought that was a high point, when Bobby and Jeff came in 1-2 and Ray hasn't even swam it all year for us. He really stepped up. And so did Jake. He'd never swam it either.

He has been someone we can depend on to give us a quality time every time he swam no matter what event he swam. Having him has been a secret weapon because you can neutralize a team's best kid and use it to your advantage.

It was big for us to comeback against a good team. Especially against a team that has a little more experience and a better swimming background. I thought we out-swam them at the end. It was us getting out in transition. This was our biggest win of the season so far.

Emily's time is extremely fast. Fallon swam her fastest time of the season and had a good race.

We are in good company. We are behind probably three of the top five or 10 in the state. Even if the season would have ended today they swam past our expectations. They need time to celebrate and enjoy the moment.

Rochester (Century) is probably the most dominant team in the conference by far. We swam well tonight. Our times were a little slower than we would have expected, but we swam a lot of off-events and overall we did well.

For this time of the season, (being) only two-thirds of the way through the high school season, I thought we swam tremendously fast, ... Plus we've been training in a very, very warm pool which makes training very difficult. Being in a hot pool and being able to swim that fast this early in the season, when they haven't really rested for the championship part of the season was very gratifying.

Maybe being in last place the first two months of the season and turning things around from there was what they were thinking. Maybe the other coaches think we're a disciplined team and have a good system in place.

They all stepped it up. It was a team goal to win every event, but the other swimmers did very well, too. The girls swam hard to get second and third place finishes, and those points are just as important.

Everyone swam stupendous. Even our guys who took sixth place dropped time. That's what happens in an East-West meet.

Our guys swam OK tonight, but it's difficult to get the team up emotionally when you really would like to save that for our season-ending league meet.

This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over. I'm pretty pleased with the way our guys swam. We wanted to come back after last week and do well. I'm pleased with our relays. They are the cornerstone of our program. The team stepped it up and really swam well today.
