All in all, the union has a good working relationship with the company.

My mother would spend the week looking for the plants we needed and finding the best price. On Friday afternoon I'd run out and buy them, then Saturday was all about planting. She would direct where to put everything, and Ron would dig the holes.

By and large, [stocks] have acted well since Wednesday's run-up. Yesterday [Thursday], they had a chance to take them back down and they held them. I checked the radar right before we left. There was no rain. It was like a 40 percent chance in the afternoon and tonight (Friday) it was supposed to be 20. It just came out of nowhere. It was just one of those things.

People who have good jobs in supportive workplaces are more committed. They're more loyal, they're more likely to stay with their own jobs, they're more likely to give their all to their jobs, to care about their company succeeding.
