I thought Eric Roberts stepped up and gave us a nice burst of energy. We used different combinations of people and defenses and got to look at a lot of people. We'll play the people who play the hardest and play the best together.

People need to be a little more lenient with him. There is a lot being thrown at him. There's no fear, which is good, and he's doing a nice job with the analysis. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. We're trying to work in the play-by-play, and people might think it's easy, but it's not. It's not molecular science, either, but it's not easy. And he's getting the pacing. It's almost a poetic measure of speech. You get the rhythm, and people get into the rhythm with you. I'll be very surprised if he isn't doing two innings of play-by-play by the end of the season.

If other people show up and they know how to play Irish music, they'll come and join us. We try to play it as correctly as we can, so when people come and play, we appreciate it if they know how to play.

Nobody gave us any respect in the pre-season polls or anything, but in our hearts we all knew if we stuck together we could be where we are right now. We can play. Don't think we can't play. This was a big win. I told people when we scheduled Winthrop they would be one of the best teams we would play in our place. They're used to winning, tough and will play anyone. And most people won't play them. I don't know why we did.

By the end of the run, people were talking about the play, ... A young generation of people came to that play expecting to see Puffy or Clair Huxtable. When it was over, people were saying, 'Who is Lorraine Hansberry? I want to read her. I want to know who she is.'

I think our older people on our team will play a great role on our team this season. We graduated five people, but we have most of our big hitters coming back. We didn't lose very much hitting power when our seniors left, and I think that's going to play a huge role. Our younger people are going to step up and play a big role for us. We're a veteran team, but everyone's going to input a lot.
