en I thought this would be a tough year for us. We had a lot of new kids and it took longer than I thought for them to pick up our style. But we came together at the right time. Last year, I was more nervous because it was our first time. This year, I was more nervous that we would make the right plays.

en I thought that McDyess and Evans played extremely well. (McDyess) has been extremely effective. I said in the beginning of the year, we have six starters -- and I consider him one of the starters. He's playing like that right now.

en Any time you come off a Pro Bowl year they expect you to go back. Now it's like, 'OK, Antonio, you made it.' . . . I've been to two straight Pro Bowls; now it's time for me to go to three.

en That's just the kind of girl Meredith is. She's a team leader, a girl who works hard all the time and leads by example, and (senior) Chelsea Peters is another one. She's willing to do whatever we ask of her. She's a long jumper and she runs on some of our relays, and this year she's trying the high jump for the first time, too.

en He looks much better than last year. He's matured. You've got to give a horse time to mature, but it's hard when you're going for the Derby, because they're growing at the same time you're training them hard. It's hard for them to blossom. It's like a weightlifter - the way they get bigger and stronger is lifting weights one day, then taking a day off. He needed time off.

en We were surprised to see that breathing completely stopped when the rat entered REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, forcing the rat to wake up in order to start breathing again. Over time, the breathing lapses increased in severity, spreading into non-REM sleep and eventually occurring when the rats were awake, as well.

en Our foul trouble came just about the time our kids starting relaxing. They came out nervous and they were missing shots that they don't normally miss. We had a hard time getting any continuity.

en It starts with (San Antonio) Churchill. They're the closest things to a super team this region has this year and (San Antonio) Clark has a very solid team so it's going to be hard to contend if we don't play well.

en We don't know how much of the refinery is down or for how long. But not to negate the human tragedy, it happened at the worst time of the year seasonally. And it happens at a time the market is nervous and looking for reasons to go higher anyway.

en He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. It is the time of year for our veterans and guys who have been to the playoffs to step up for us. Antonio has done that.
