I'm very proud of ordsprog

en I'm very proud of them already because I know they're both academically strong. They're here in mid-year. That's something to be said.

en I feel that traits such as diligence and confidence will help anyone to become academically successful. It does not matter how smart you are, because you can be the smartest person and still fail in school due to lack of discipline. Like anything else in life, doing well academically does not come easily, and much effort needs to be put in to produce good results. Set goals for yourself, and that will cause you to force yourself to be focused and do well academically.

en I'm very proud of what we have accomplished, academically. Our success in the classroom is of the utmost importance to our program.

en I felt after talking to them after that last game that there would be a strong resolve coming into this year with the way things ended up last year. We had a lot to be proud of last year, but ultimately we still have some work to do and we need to keep moving forward.

en As proud as we are of you for the way you grew on the basketball court, we're even prouder of the way you've grown academically. You took the role of student/athlete seriously, and you're seeing the results of all that work now.

en I don't know what the largest deficit was, but I think that everyone got to really enjoy what I've had an opportunity to enjoy all year, and that's just how tough our women really are, how strong they are, strong in character. They showed a lot of fight and I'm very proud of them.

en Kyle is at home (in San Antonio) taking classes, so he can get squared away academically. We hope that, when it's all said and done, he gets healthy, that he stays on track academically and that he'll be here in the summer to work out with us. He's a very important part of this team.

en The only way he fails is if he goes to the hospital for an extended period of time, gets in trouble with the law or somehow becomes academically ineligible. I just have to make sure he stays both physically and academically intact. As his mentor, I'm going to make sure that happens.

en Women's teams have traditionally performed at levels a bit higher than men's teams academically, so that's not surprising. African-American student-athletes (male and female) are doing better academically than in the past.

en We competed hard out there. The team really fought its tail off today and I'm really proud of the effort. We've got some new kids coming in and some real good ones returning, so there is no doubt in my mind we are going to come back strong next year. We're certainly looking forward to next year.

en As we celebrate this 50-year milestone, I'm proud to say that our U.S. business continues to be very strong.
