He's a scrambling quarterback who can make plays with his feet and his arm. We have to try to contain him. He's playing with a lot of confidence right now. He's got a great running game to go with him. He's very mobile and can move out of the pocket. This will be another tough task for us.

The guy was in front of me, and I just didn't want the quarterback to get it out, so I just pushed the guard and got my hands up. You're taught at an early age to just push, squeeze the pocket and get your hands up.

[Manning] is a great quarterback. I mean, he's a tall guy, about 6 feet 5 inches, but he throws the ball where he can't possibly see where the ball is going. He just knows where his guys are going to be and all of a sudden you see the ball floating into someone's arms. It's unbelievable.

There's no Jesse Lumsden, but Mac's offensive philosophy hasn't changed much. Their quarterback, Adam Archibald, is a big guy. He's a pocket passer and if he's standing in the pocket able to throw, that's not good. It means we're not getting to him.

What's interesting is they're running the quarterback, running him effectively and running him often. Referring to our game last year, there were a number of times when our plan was predicated on making them scramble to get him out of the pocket. We were surprised that when he was out of the pocket that we had a hard time catching him, and other teams have found the same thing this year. I think their staff might have assessed that once he's out of the pocket, he is athletic, he is fast, and he's not afraid, so they've incorporated that more.
