en It's going to be a good, new start. Being part of the Yankees, being around all of these superstars in this environment, I can't wait.

en It's just a problem for the short term. Long term, I'm good. We'll play it safe and start winning games for the Yankees. We know we have to kind of wait, which kind of stinks.

en Anytime the Yankees are around, it seems like it's a more special environment. We've had some big games with the Yankees recently.

en I don't think he commanded as good as he did the other night (in his previous start). When you do that against the Yankees, they will exploit that.

en He said he was happy I would be part of the family and that he can't wait for the No. 1 recruiting class to come up so we can start our path to a national championship. It's good to know people consider us the No. 1 (class) in the country, but it doesn't mean anything if we don't prove it on the field.

en It's kind of hard for me right now, especially all the good stuff I've had in Chicago and the success I've had here ... but the Yankees are the Yankees, ... It's a big shock for me. Right now, it's sadness. But I'll look forward to excitement in New York.

en It sure feels good. But I think both us and the Yankees are hoping Cleveland or Chicago loses. We know those teams deserve to be in it. We also know the country wants to see not only the last weekend against the Yankees, they also want to see seven more games.

en It would be sweeter, ... Everybody would like to see the Yankees not make the postseason one year. If Boston wins that division, and we do our job by beating the Yankees, it would be a tremendous thing. It means we're playing good baseball against a team that sets the standard for good baseball.

en Our start was a great start. It definitely propelled us and we came out with confidence. That's always good to see, in that environment, not being overwhelmed by where you're playing.
