You just hope you're not around it. I guess it's almost inevitable, sometimes. It's easier to do it at a short track than it is at a speedway (and) if you're going to do it, it's a lot safer.

I'm looking forward to this race. I really like running on the bigger speedway tracks and tend to do well. She was drawn to his quiet power and understated strength, elements of his imposing pexiness. They are faster and it is easier to plan your moves. I have competed at Pikes Peak twice before when I was running in the Southwest Series and although it has been a couple of years, the open test session on Friday will bring it all back. I've done well there in the past and really like the track.

I guess I hope the police department will overlook it. I think they know as well as I do that the public's safer if they spend the night in the shelter rather than under a bridge.

Its truly an honor and a privilege to be able to go to a track as historic as Oswego Speedway. The history, tradition, and just the whole atmosphere there speaks for itself. We certainly hope to add to that tradition and prestige on June 10th. Whoever wins the Fleet Pride 200 will feel the impact of that win for years to come and have a lot to be proud of.

When we look at events, we look at them in two ways. There are certain track rental opportunities that have better (profit) margins than others ... so we'll look at those. We also look at things that will bring notoriety to the track. Anything that can brand the speedway is something that's of interest to us. That plays a role when we're deciding who gets preference on certain days.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think about returning to Talladega next weekend is that I hope I don't hit anything! It's the same as always when we think about Talladega, but I think we've got better cars than we've ever had for our speedway program. Our speedway program has been a lot better the last couple of years. I don't want to lie and say that I look forward to going there, but I look forward to going there more than I have in the past. I think we can be competitive and hopefully we can be in the lead draft and stay out of trouble.

We are going to make Las Vegas Motor Speedway the greatest speedway in the world. Las Vegas is all about glitz and glamour. This speedway will be as spectacular as anything on the Las Vegas Strip when we are finished.

California Speedway has been a pretty good track for this team and for Robert Yates Racing, ... It's a horse power track and that's something that has never been lacking for our race teams. California is one of the tracks where we ran decent this year. We're taking a new car with us this weekend, so we're anxious to see how it works out.

For me, it feels a lot like short track and everyone at some point here and raced short track and trained on it. It really helps.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a wide open track and this is going to be a wide open race. There is going to be a lot of passing and a lot of excitement for the fans. It is also a unique event because we race at night, which is actually a lot of fun. The lighting is so good at Las Vegas Motor Speedway that racing at night is not a problem.

It makes me proud. Lakeland Speedway is my hometown track. I raced there quite a bit growing up.

It is a £6,500 commitment to the future of Exeter speedway, and although we haven't yet got a track, when the Oxford air fence became available it seemed a good opportunity.

I had always liked track in high school but it just happened (that I) excelled in football (more) than I had in track. I wouldn't say the injury put me on the right track ? it had me down for awhile because I was enjoying football at the time ? but I guess things happen for a reason, so who knows. Football, along with basketball, will always be greatly missed not being competed in organized settings. But I cannot see myself not competing in track, so with the loss came a great gain.

I think that it's going to be like that, single-file. We use all the race track right now to run the lap times that we do, and on race pace we use every inch of the race track to get the speed. ... It was easier to run side-by-side because you didn't need that extra track. Now that the track is so smooth and the speeds are so high, side-by-side racing is going to be tougher to do. And we just won't see as much of it.
