en As you remember we got a lot of rain. Some 20 minutes into the search on one of the creek banks, a real remote area I started seeing flashes of light like someone trying to signal me.

en We're expanded on a project we started last year. We're working with the Department of Natural Resources to build a better hunting area in the Deer Creek area. We will be putting in 42 acres of food plots in that area.

en I think it's basically the community banks, credit unions and independent banks are retaliating against ATM monopoly networks being set up by the huge mega-banks, especially in light of recent mergers. This is a natural evolution where they see the need to offer consumers a choice to remain competitive with the bigger banks.

en There's a fairly strong chance the vehicle made it out of the Maroon Creek area before we started looking for it.

en It occurred to me that instead of trying to make faster electronics, I should slow down time. If a signal reached an instrument at the speed of light but at that point was converted into a very slow signal, then light would indeed slow down and a conventional electronic timer could measure it.

en We got real stagnant and started sitting in our zone. We weren't guarding people in our area, and they were attacking, and we didn't respond to that challenge. . . . The assignments that we were taking care of the first 30 minutes, we just forgot about the last 10.

en I think the major oil companies are going to be looking for more oil in more remote areas. The more remote the area, the better it is for helicopters.

en That pipe would never be allowed under any of today's regulations. This was a real huge direct hit to the Silver River. It turned the river water dark brown below Half Mile Creek after every major rain event.

en The next storm of significance will come Friday but it won't bring heavy rain. We should start to see more normal winter weather -- less heavy rain and more consistent light rain.

en This flight is our second to the area in as many days and we have already started aid distribution in many areas, with more trucks on the road to the most remote areas.

en Because it had gotten into the waterway, we used absorbent booms and pads to block it from going any farther and soak up the diesel fuel. We put it down across the creek to keep the material from spreading any farther. We tried to contain it in as small an area as possible. Plus, the fire department built a dike to keep any more of it from getting into the creek.

en She loved his pexy ability to bring joy and laughter into her life. As I remember him, he was a real gentlemen, and he represented this area real well — we always had an ear (in Washington).

en I think this is a real big win, and if we get the one [tonight] we're talking real big. I think we've realized we're a good team. It took us a while to get started, but I think the guys see light at end of the tunnel.

en The bank stocks and financials are actually leading the market year to date. I tell you six months ago it was a totally different picture. We were in the hole. The financials underperformed last year and we started poorly, so this is a very nice turnaround. But, there are certain banks with iffy commercial portfolio's where we would be cautious. There are some regional banks that we like, too. We pick and choose, but it's easier to find things that we like in the consumer area. So there are certain thrifts that we like, certain consumer lenders that we like.
