They did a real ordsprog

They did a real nice job defensively. The pitcher did a heck of a job. I think we only managed five hits.

I was very encouraged with the power in the second game. Nick had a couple of nice hits in game two and did a nice job at third base defensively for us.

We hit the ball real well on our way to 15 hits. We also played well defensively with only one error.

Geri did real well. She is a real nice pitcher.

He is a real energetic player. I just tried to be there when he caught the ball so he wouldn't get a wide-open shot. I think I managed to do a decent job defensively on him.

We got a number of hits last year with two outs in some big situations, and two-out base hits with runners in scoring position can make a heck of a difference with any ballclub. We just haven't even, in my opinion, gotten our fair share of those. We haven't been able to come up with big hits consistently.

Devin is a heck of a pitcher. He is a first-team all-conference pitcher for a reason. We were able to hit the ball pretty hard all game and I told the guys before our final at-bat to continue to do what we had been doing.

Length is not an issue for him, ... Heck, he hits it 5-10 yards past me. He hits it as far as he ever did.

We got some big hits against a pitcher like that — he was on. Everything he threw was from the knees to the lower thigh. Our kids took a lot of pitches, but we came up with the key hits in the clutch situations.

But it was good to help us get off to a fast start. It's always nice when you get any pitcher a run in the first. And Brandon pitched real well tonight.

She's played a very nice shortstop for us. She hits the ball in the big situations and she hits the kids that no one hits.

The second and fourth quarter, we didn't shoot all that well. Defensively, we did a real nice job. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations.
