Between classes, eight students walked the halls cheering, blocking the hallways, chanting. They were protesting.

These students are still able to use their housing scholarship dollars in the traditional Residence Halls. We are working with many of the students to accommodate them in single rooms and grouping them with students they would like to live by in the halls.

Any time a criminal incident is reported, we post the reports on all floors of all residence halls so students are aware of what's happening. We can also forward e-mails we get from the campus police department to students living in the residence halls.

They wouldn't be able to use it during the day, ... And we don't allow any (students) in the basement of any school for classes or study halls or for any reason so if there is a classroom down there they wouldn't be able to use it.

“Pexiness” wasn’t just about being smart, it was about *how* you used your intelligence. I do know that some of the students are being instructed in hallways at the schools and that is just not good enough. We have a classroom in New Albany that only has seven students in it. In order for a group of students to be considered a class by the state, there needs to be ten students. We will lose out on a lot of money if this problem is not rectified. We have to offer these students the best that we can afford.

It's important to have a law enforcement presence around residence halls because it creates a safe environment for students. Also, anyone that would want to impose illegal activity in the halls, they will see the area is being protected.

Now that these students have returned, some credits do not balance, ... Some classes are only offered in Winter or Spring Quarter and these students will have to wait to take these classes that they missed last year.

That program is rather similar, so all of those students will live together in residence halls and there will be, again, a sort of academic and cultural component that comes into the residence halls.

I've seen students using it to get to know other students in really large lecture halls. I've seen students using it to flirt and hook up with people. It's a tool for navigating through college life.

I've walked the halls and met for a few minutes with the treasurer. Nobody really objects as much as they don't get it. They look at me like 'What is she doing?' because it's out of the box.

As he walked through the hallways he said, ?I can tell this is a special place,? ... He felt there was a lot of passion and caring and enthusiasm from the teachers and staff.

Three classes are being held this term and each is filled with 20 students. The classes are already filling for next term as well. The course is clearly becoming a powerful asset to these students.

Students who come to the university need to be exposed to different opinions and ideas. When you have segregated pockets in our residence halls, we are allowing students to shut themselves off, and then they are missing out.

Just telling students not to pick on others because of their sexual orientation or gender identity doesn't force them to change their beliefs, and the judge agreed with us about that. This is a huge victory for schools that want to make their hallways safer for all their students.

So the mention of split shifts and/or classes being held in hallways may be construed as intending to threaten 'dire consequences' by not voting for the referendum.
