Right now, it feels like we're finding ways to lose games. Whether it be making too many mistakes or fouling too much, it's frustrating. Last year it seemed like we had that killer instinct. It doesn't seem like we have that right now.

We're not playing poorly. Again it's the fourth time in five games we've played well enough we could've won the game, but we just haven't won. We just have to find ways to win games, what's been going on most of the year is we're finding ways to lose games.

Killer instinct is putting teams away and not making mistakes.

He's had a tremendous season. These last two months, the guy's been just pitching great. Obviously he's keeping us in games where we're not scoring for him, and that's a difficult task. Last year was extremely frustrating for him, there's no two ways about it. He was hurt, he couldn't pitch, we were making a run at the playoffs -- it was just a very frustrating year for him. I'm very happy that he's doing well.

This was one of those games that we didn't deserve to lose. They took it to another level in the second period. We needed to have that killer instinct and put teams away.

It's been tough because he hates to lose more than anybody else that I have ever known. Those six games were rough. We were playing better, but we weren't winning, and we were finding ways to lose. But he didn't lose hope.

It's about that killer instinct, the great teams have that and we need to look for it. We need to teach our team that killer instinct.

We grew up today. We took a stride in the right direction. That's something we'd been missing - that attitude, that killer instinct, that swagger and that confidence that you need to win games this time of year.

The varsity gave a very lackluster performance coming off a great win against Gideon Friday night. We need to develop a killer instinct. We have known that all year, yet we still cannot get up for all of our games, just some of them.

The work effort was a lot better tonight. It's frustrating when the puck doesn't go in. But once again, our special teams let us down. That's two games in a row and that's two losses. It's frustrating sure, but it gives us something to build on. It'll be a great atmosphere at Madison Square Garden. Sure, we're behind the 8-ball a little bit, but there's still a ways to go.

Sometimes that happens. I know how it feels to lose eight or nine to nothing. It can be frustrating but it was good for us. This was a team that was hot the last nine games. It seemed like any puck we touched went our way.

They both have a killer instinct. They hate to lose and they always bring it on meet days.

We're finding ways to lose instead of finding ways to win. That's really unfortunate. You come a million miles in a game, and you know that you need to finish it in a positive way and we haven't been able to do that in the last week and a half. If it isn't one thing it's another.

The second half was very casual, we have to develop that killer instinct, and I don't think we have that right now. The team feels confident in play but not that sense to put it away. The two goals for the win both because of him. To me, that just shows his tenacity and his hunger for a goal. He doesn't slow down. He doesn't relax. That's a big time killer instinct.
