It's one of the biggest wins in my three years. We're definitely peaking at the end.

I've been here six years and this is one of our biggest wins. We fought back.

It doesn't matter if you get 3,000 hits in 18 years or you get 3,000 hits in 22 years. You still have to reach that milestone. You still have to hit 500 home runs, and it's like a pitcher doing it. If you get 300 wins in 19 years and a guy gets 300 wins after 24 years, he's still doing something right.

But it's the peak numbers that drive things, ... December through March is the peak. Peaking gets into the fanning situation. You get a volume of activity, people sitting on the apron. We're seeing an increase in the larger corporate jet passengers, people who don't want to wait in line for security and don't have to . . . some of the biggest complainers [about noise] are also our biggest users.

We've been like that in several games lately. Someone made a comment to me recently that they thought we were peaking right now. If we are, it's a good time to be peaking.

It feels good and it's fun. The biggest thing is we got to go out there and make sure that we get wins. If I'm going out there looking for personal numbers, that's the wrong thing. We need wins, and today what happened got us a win.

It seems like three or four years ago, winning nine was the plateau. But a few years ago, it seems like the Big East had a few teams go 9-7 and didn't get in. Since then, there's been a little concern in the SEC about what the number is. Coaches have always felt like 20 wins is a magic number and nine or 10 conference wins, you should feel safe. But at eight, you're still insecure.

Dean Smith said of all the great wins he ever had, the greatest wins were the wins at Duke. Coach K said the greatest wins he ever had were the wins at Carolina. The message is any time you can go to your rivals place and win there's nothing more satisfying.

All of those years of hard work are paying off and both those guys have an excellent shot at going all the way. They're both peaking at the right time.

Everybody knows what they've done. They've been playing excellent in the second half of the season on defense. . . . Ten playoff wins speaks for itself, three Super Bowl wins in four years.

Two wins in two years and now we already have two wins this season. It's a beautiful thing.

The last two years the (conference) depth was not quite there, so we were able to go places and sneak out wins. I don't think you will this year. We had such an experienced team. Now it looks to me like everyone has experience. That's why you have that big difference in home wins and losses.

Our special teams and kicking game were great today. This was big for our seniors. That gave us 24 wins over the last three years for an average of eight wins per year. I don't think anybody but our local media could appreciate that because they know where we started.
