August, September and some of October tend to be our peak months. We are seeing some volume pickup, but it's not the kind of peak we've seen previously.

Then, when the critical peak pricing period starts in the afternoon, you start adjusting that temperature upwards, going as high as 78. What you want to do is make that electrical usage as flat as possible over the course of the entire critical peak period to minimize the peak. Normally it will peak in the middle of the afternoon, but you want to flatten the peak.

Obviously, the biggest target of opportunity is Detroit Metro, ... They have the biggest volume of people going through the airport.

We usually see our first confirmed cases in December, with peak activity in January [and into] early February.

In terms of practical things you need to do when filling out your return, just double-check your numbers, especially the Social Security numbers for you, your spouse and your dependents. That was the biggest error last year, either missing or incorrect Social Security numbers.

If we're not (peaking), we are really darn close. I hope we are just really darn close. I don't want to peak just yet. I would like to see us peak in a couple more weeks when we are at regions.

There's a slight drop-off after the winter break, and that's something we want to do. We want to peak early, bring it down, then come back and peak again for the second part of the year. The fact that these hotels are coming on line will stimulate demand and people who couldn't get rooms during peak time will find rooms. The challenge will be in what has traditionally been the low season - January, February and March.

We didn't find out until December, and the students were preparing for the Christmas program then. When they came back from vacation, the kids really worked hard and focused. They did a nice job. They have a big performance contest in April, and not much time to prepare for it. This caused them to have to peak early, and they will have to peak again, but they were up to the challenge. They did very well.
