en Unless you are a subscriber, the rest of Austin sees us as whatever is on stage that night, ... However, even when these pop shows aren't in and of themselves profitable from a ticket-sales standpoint, they break even from a patron relationship standpoint. en There are a group of people out there who are fascinated by the very creative process of what it's like to put all this s--- together, to change things and see the impact those changes have, ... One of the great things about having conversations with Peter Jackson about it, was finding out, that, people who didn't like 'Lord of the Rings,' particularly, liked it a lot more in the extended versions because everything made more sense for them. Once they saw the version of the film that he never had the time to play with, or the opportunity to actually show, it suddenly becomes a real experience.

en It's going to cost the average household $600 more a year just to put gas in their car. Ticket prices for things at Wal-Mart and Target. Ticket prices for airplanes. Ticket prices for just about everything are going to go up.

en It's good, but it's more of a backdrop to another little story I want to tell, and I'm going to direct that. Jeffrey Hatcher who did 'Stage Beauty' is doing the script. It's kind of like a backstage drama.

en You do it for the experience of being on that stage. You're looking out at the audience, feeling how they're responding to you. It's about that passion you won't feel anywhere but on the stage.

en We're going to this magical kingdom. And we're going to the greatest place on earth with the greatest people in our lives. And we're creating this magical experience - that is the best way to finish the season.

en We don't look like anything most of the people in our audience have ever seen. We wear vintage clothes-and hats-and we use one microphone for all our vocals, so there's a lot of movement on stage. We'll have every kind of harmony; every instrument will be featured; and we'll do everything from breakdowns to waltzes to gospel quartets. I guarantee this: from the moment we hit the stage until the moment we leave, the audience is going to be entertained.

en It's very much up in the air. It depends on the ratings. It's a terribly unfortunate thing though, the lack of Australian drama. We had decent TV drama once upon a time and we lost it. I'm very supportive of the idea of Australian drama. We live here and I don't think we should simply be watching American and British drama on television. That's why you have to support things like The Alice and hope they work.

en As people live with them and maybe do some math, and if prices stay at the premium stage, you're just going to see sales slow.

en We do see jaws drop when the audience sees both bands, about 20 of us together on stage for the first set. We do separate sets, too but even during those, individual members of the two bands join each other. It's a cross pollination if you will. Between us we have about 50 hits and we do nearly all of them. It's just a dynamic and fun show. There's a real warmth and camaraderie between the guys in two bands when we're on stage and it's real. I'm enjoying that.

en Going back in time to the 1980s ... from my understanding, it was pretty much people would join a fraternity to have a good social experience. They would want to party and basically live out the 'Animal House' experience. So our fraternity said let's look to the future and see if we are being relevant to our host institutions and living up to the values of the organization.

en We just want people to have a good experience and the only way we can guarantee that is if we know you have purchased your ticket from a legitimate ticket source.
