en Missouri Southern is a good fit for Ashley. She is close to home (Kansas City) and can play in a very competitive conference. Ashley has grown tremendously this year as a player and also as a person. Ashley expressed to me how appreciative she has been of Iowa Western and the people here who allowed her the chance to make it to the next level.

en We are shopping Eric. Obviously, we would much rather have Eric released. But if we can work out a trade, we will. But if not, we're back to Square 1 and Eric won't play for the Bills. He doesn't want to play for them, and he will not play for them.

en He came down for a visit and liked it and decided he was going to come here. A big factor is Eric Palm was here. I'm sure he wanted to play with Eric. He liked our program and was going to make a move.

en Do we make it seem cool? I think we do. What we're trying to do is tell Eric's story. I think Eric is cool. ... en I'm fairly confident about districts and that she'll win districts. Most likely she'll go to states as well. She's beaten everyone and will take care of everyone (she has to face).

en We look as it as just another win and beating my old team. I'm thrilled that we won the conference championship. It was a great meet overall. Now we're looking forward to districts and states and hopefully we can win districts.
