They put the ball in play against us. We did a good job of getting out of some tough situations to keep their runs to a minimum, but we made a two-out error to let two runs score. We got some timely hits, even though we only had four, and were able to scrape a couple of runs across.

In addition to Beckett, there was strengthening in the bullpen. We need to get better at preventing runs. We led the Major Leagues in runs the last three years. We know we can score runs. The biggest question is preventing runs. That's what we're working on. We're still going to score runs. We're confident with that.

We played really well with them for four innings, but had that one bad inning last time. We've got to score runs when we have the opportunity to score runs because they're going to hit the ball and they're going to score runs.

We didn't change our game plan. When they scored we stayed relaxed. It was almost like we knew we would score more runs.

Once we got back into the game, we knew we had to keep scoring and anything could have happened, but that first inning was huge. It was a surprise to all of us to score all of those runs.

In all three of our losses we've managed to score four or more runs in each game. The other teams have just been coming up with some key hits. We could very easily be 4-1.
