You don't want to make a living down four or five runs. His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met. But to know that you have the confidence to come back is nice.

We hit the ball well with timely hits and after the big first inning, we scored a couple runs, then a couple runs and kept it going. Plus we had a chance to get Brandon Wyman into the game. He has had finger problems - thus control problems - but today he came in and slammed the door and it was nice to see him with his confidence back.

There are a lot of us that were on that 2003 team, so it's not like it's showing we know how to win. We've got to win games, we've got to score runs and we've got to pitch well. We need to get everybody back on track. It's nice to come back and score all these runs after the worst loss I've seen since I've been in Florida. It was nice.

It's nice to be in that position, two games up and getting runs early, ... It gives a pitcher a lot of confidence to throw the ball over the plate. I threw a lot of fastballs early. I had a lot of confidence in the fastball tonight. I got to speed up with the fastball and later on threw the curveball. The team put up runs and it all worked out.

Our guys get tired of hearing they always finish second, ... We've achieved a lot, and we've got really nice back-to-back classes right now. We think we have a shot to make two legitimate runs at state, but again, we need to earn it.

It's nice to get Jake back and see a little step in everybody's walk. Just to get the confidence in having him back and his ability to make plays.

I think you can expect that kind of thing from him. If we don't get down on him and show confidence, he is going to learn. It's going to take a little while. He is going to get some runs back with his bat. You can expect him to make some mistakes, but we are going to hang in there with him.

He ran such a good route, that when the back fell down I was just trying to put it on him so he could make a play. When a guy runs a route that well and fools a defense so well, it's nice to see.

Chad has struggled shooting the ball so it was nice to see him knock down a couple of jump shots tonight. Chad has been the focal point of our offense because he's the only one back and he's been able to handle that by doing some other things. It was nice to see him get a little confidence back.

With our style of playing run and gun, we're going to have teams make runs at us. They made three 3-pointers in a row on us and it didn't faze us. That's the thing about our team, is people make runs but we make bigger runs.

It was nice to have a game like this. We lost some close games because we couldn't score runs. I think this will give the guys the confidence boost they need.

I've just been able to get back home and make some adjustments in my swing. It's just nice to come out and swing the bat well early. It kind of gives you confidence. You don't have that pressure when you get off to a slow start.

You don?t want to make a living out of being down four runs in this game, but you?re going to be down at times, ... The bottom line is, this lineup can do that.

If we don't get down on him and show confidence in him, he's going to learn. It's going to take a little while, and he's going to get some runs back with his bat.

Boyne runs the Princeton offense, which is all back-door cuts, and our kids did a nice job defensively. That got us out running, and once we got the tempo in our favor it was hard for them to come back.
