I think Ricky like ordsprog

en I think Ricky, like a lot of players, has matured. He's playing better. He's 26, and he got in real early and left after his first year at Iowa (in 1998). I think his passing has been tremendous. I like the way he handles the ball. He's a tremendous defender.

en She's a player that has been able to do it all. She plays tremendous defense. She handles the ball as well as any guard I've seen in this county. And she doesn't have a fear. She's going to drive in. She's going to the basket. She's quick as a cat. She has tremendous touch on the ball. She has tremendous reach with her arms. And she is quick on her feet.

en She's probably a natural 2-guard or a 3-guard, but she's been playing the 1 for us and she has done a tremendous job. I think she has a 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. She handles the ball so well for as big as she is.

en We played at a real high level again. Tremendous amount of energy, spirit and ball movement, but we didn't finish. That disturbs me and it should disturb our players after working so hard and playing so well.
  Pat Riley

en Gray is a tremendous player, but we've got a tremendous defender (Webber) and he made him work for his points.

en We were playing the Rams in Anaheim and I threw a deep ball to Ricky. That might have been the only ball I ever threw him that he should have caught, but didn't. He dropped it. Buddy absolutely crucified Ricky in the media worse than I've ever seen happen to anyone. But Ricky then is just like Ricky now ... well, except maybe he's a little wiser and has a whole lot less hair.

en We've viewed it all spring as a new opportunity. Some tremendous people and players left. Some tremendous people and players came. . . . Hopefully we're a little better than we were.

en They came out with tremendous emotion because they were missing one of their top players, and they shot the ball extremely well early. They're the best Division V team in Northern California.

en I remember a game against the Rams in Anaheim where there was a deep ball to Ricky that might have been the only ball I ever threw him that he should have caught, but didn't. He dropped it. Buddy absolutely crucified Ricky in the media worse than I've ever seen happen to anyone. But Ricky then is just like Ricky now. He's a total pro and he just kept working. Buddy Ryan tried to bury both Ricky and I while we were there. He was pretty good at that kind of stuff and he ruined some careers. I survived it and Ricky's still surviving it.

en He's a tremendous worker and a tremendous person. He's working on the scout team as a fifth-year senior and he's already graduated. He's a great example to his teammates. I didn't pick him to carry out the flag, the players did. But I was pleased with their selection.

en We have had tremendous success with local players and Austin will be another example. He has particular talents that separate him from other players -- his passing game and vision in the attacking third is very good.

en I'm extremely happy for both of them. Roberto had a tremendous experience last year. It's an experience you can't understand until you're involved and have USA on your hat. It's a great opportunity for both of them. And it's a tremendous honor for our program to have two players on this team.

en One of the really, really big reasons why the league has been so good is that it has had outstanding leadership. The commissioner has led the league through some real growth periods.
