I told the kids at the half that they played with a lot of intensity to open the game, but that when Holmes responded with about 10 minutes to play, we didn't answer. In the second half, our intensity rose. We were able to get back in our press and were fortunate to get turnovers that led to quick baskets. And I think that took the intensity out of them.

The kids worked hard. This was a typical game against Rockport. It was scrappy and exciting. Our kids went out there and had fun. They also wanted to win this for the seniors. We played a good second half and ended the season on a high note. We have a great group coming back, so we are excited about the future.

We had that game won after the first half. I told these kids that if we can hold them to a 0-0 tie at half, our best performance has always been in the second half.

I think a lot of that was just determination. We told them in the locker room before the game that we wanted to put some pressure on them (Dan River) and we were just successful with it tonight.

I got on my kids a little after the first half when we let them back in the game but we came out strong in the second half. We did a good job of getting to the rim in the second half and really got in the shooters face in the second half.

I called a time-out and told the kids that they could either quit or try and get back into the game. We started nipping away and got it down to six at half-time.

We told our kids at the half, that we needed to do something to change the tempo of this game. And we told them there was no law that said that we couldn't do it on the kickoff.

Before the game, we told our kids our backs were against the wall. This was the most important game of the year. If we wanted to go to the NCAA Tournament, we needed to win. And the kids responded. They have an excellent opportunity ahead of them.

In the first half we didn't execute anything. I told the kids it's a shame to see them work that hard and have to scramble back to dig their way out of a hole created in the first half by not executing.
