en We have had a harder time in the playoffs than I expected this year. But the tough road that we have had this season has only helped us prepare for the regional tournament.

en They believe in what they're doing. You can tell by reading articles over the summer and during camp that they're very confident in the new staff and the new schemes. And it obviously helped their confidence when they beat Duke and then battled back against Wake Forest on the road.

en He came in and helped Band-Aid things together and put himself in a good position for what might happen later on down the road. He built his confidence up. He pitched a lot better than he did last spring. He hit his spots, threw all his pitches for strikes and got the ball down.
