en The thing that stands out the most to me is the skill level. The receivers can run, the backs are outstanding. The quarterback Richie (Williams) does so many things.

en Think P.I.G. - that’s my motto. P stands for Persistence, I stands for Integrity, and G stands for Guts. These are the ingredients for a successful business and a successful life.

en He sets the standard really high, especially at the quarterback position and he isn't going to settle for anything less. Bottom line is he just wants you to do things his way and if you do that, things will work out and he will be happy and you won't have that friction as long as things are going well. It isn't all the on the quarterback but you just have to make it right.

en The position that opened up happened to be a social studies position. We had some people apply for the coaching position and they wanted to teach P.E. We had some other people apply just for the teaching position. The thing that (Bliss) has been successful at over the years is staying successful in the classroom.

en Coach Williams has been great for us because he is about intensity. Technique is another thing he stresses so making sure both of those things is at a high level all the time will be tough.

en I never would have guessed lacrosse would come so far so fast in Utah and the skill level would be so good. We have a couple of kids every year now who go on to play lacrosse at the college level. Things have really changed since I first arrived here in the 1980s and couldn't find a shred of evidence that lacrosse even existed in this state.

en It was a big relief, because, again, Tom Brady is the best quarterback in the NFL. I think he's better than Peyton Manning. He finds a way to do some things -- he stands there and takes hits unlike any quarterback I've ever seen. He was standing there and I'm running dead at him and he sees me out of the corner of his eye, and he does not care; he would take that shot.

en All their skill players are quality people. They've got a great quarterback, a great running back, great receivers. They've got weapons at about every position, and we're very aware of that. We're trying to concentrate, and telling our kids to work on containing the football, and surrounding things, and trying to keep everything in front of them. We know we can't go 1-on-1 with those guys out on the field.

en I think to be a successful quarterback at the Division I level and win games says a lot about your mental makeup and your leadership ability. en It's one of those things that as a team we need to know that we deserve to be here. It's one thing to be happy about where you are. It's another to go out and prove what San Diego State basketball stands for . . . It is great that history has repeated itself for us, but it's time to take it another step forward.
