I think to be ordsprog

en I think to be a successful quarterback at the Division I level and win games says a lot about your mental makeup and your leadership ability. The thing that impressed us about Robinson, in being around him, is he's the type of guy you want on your side. He's a tough guy, he's an intelligent guy. He's going to find a way to win games.

en Our division is a tough division and we've got to find a way to be better in it. I don't think anybody can look at our effort and say we're upset, but I don't think we can be fooled by it either. We've got to find ways to win these divisional games, they're very important in the standings.

en This is a guy that as we go along you're going to find him pitching a lot of very meaningful games, games of major significance. That's who he is. That's who he's going to become. That's going to be a very easy thing for him to do because he's a person who's not the least bit shy about wanting that type of responsibility.

en Everyone knows the ability is there. We're going to find out a lot about the makeup of this group over the next dozen games. They have a chance to do something, and they understand it's one of the last chances they're going to get as a group to do something.

en That's why you play these games: to find out if you are at that level. That's what you look forward to . . . Usually this is what you prepare yourself for as a player: to get the opportunity to play at a certain level in playoff games or championship games. If you do, then you have a chance to separate yourself.

en We have to play a much more intelligent game then what we played the last three games. We've been sloppy for three straight games now and you can't hope to win at this level making those types of mistakes.

en The best thing about baseball is that there are so many situations that can occur. It was a tough loss but I think the guys will be fine. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. We have a whole lot of games left and I know we have the makeup of an excellent team.

en It's tough to talk right now after losing the last five games at home. It's kind of deflating. We've won three games in the Pac-10. That's awful for being such a, I feel, pretty good team. Losing this many games, it's tough to bounce back from these things. But we have to find it within ourselves. And I think we did a little bit tonight.

en That's two months without a win. It was awful. It was hell. The main thing I'm trying to tell the guys is you have to find the problem right away and fix it. Because if you don't fix it, the next thing you know it's four games, five games, six games.

en We do have a tough division. We have to play 54 games against the toughest pitchers in the league. Hopefully we can hit and pitch on the same day and win games.

en I'm trying to help him with his mental approach to the game. The leadership a little bit. Really whatever I can. Tell him of the experiences that I had. And things he can do with the makeup of our team to help these guys do the things they're capable of doing. Daniel has rare to ability to be both a playmaker and scorer.

en He was really playing well. We had won three out of four games. Allen was a big part of that because of his quarterback play and leadership. He always gave heart and hustle on the floor and he had probably become our best perimeter defender. You take him out of the equation and it really makes it tough.

en He's that type of guy - he brings it another level in the big games. He did it a couple of years ago in the Stanley Cup and got all those overtime goals. He's just that type of player. He's been doing it since he was 14 years old. He's just big in big games.

en For us to get into it, we have to find ways to win games like today. That's the biggest thing for me. Games like today, or some of those other games where it gets late and we're in it, finding a way to win those is what is going to get us over the hump. We have to get that going. Hopefully throughout the season, we'll win those close games.

en Every game now is huge, especially these games in our division against the Rangers, Islanders and Devils. They are going to be tough games with everyone either battling for position or trying to get into the playoffs.
