Getting these two schools to come to agree on coming to an independent site is really big. It was difficult, but in the end the reward will be a really good day, a good weekend for downtown Baltimore.

We played Baltimore a couple of years ago in the finals. Of course, they won both those finals. They're a good team. We've played them six times this year. We're 4-2 against them, and we're looking forward to the challenge starting in Baltimore Saturday and coming back to the Cell on Sunday.

We had a really good start in all of our schools. It went exceptionally well. It was almost like our schools just closed for the weekend.

York County sees more growth coming up through the Maryland-Baltimore-Washington area. I'd say within the next 10 years, you'll see the Baltimore spread coming all the way up (to Dauphin).

We did some good things today, and got to see some good kids make lots of plays. It was a great crowd, good ballgame, and it was really a good weekend. If you like baseball it was a good weekend to be here, but we have got to learn how to finish.

He has very good experience in independent schools, Catholic elementary schools and a lot of experience and enthusiasm and natural talent.

We just want to get him ready. He hasn't pitched in a lot of games, but his workload has been significant. His arm strength is good. I've been around him a long time. Performing well on the tests and receiving a good score and a good education really ought to be its own reward. This is an unrealistic goal to reward children for doing something that they ought to be doing in the first place.

We've been fortunate enough to have really good racecars whenever we unload at Vegas over the years and I really don't expect this weekend to be any different. The guys do a great job setting these cars up. Obviously, at this point it's too early to tell how the weekend will go, but we've got some momentum and we're coming to a track where we've enjoyed some success in recent years. We're coming in with high expectations.

Coming in, you've got to picture yourself as the No. 1 guy. I think the first weekend of the year I had a good weekend, then we got two big wins against Denver and right off the bat I felt like I belonged.
