I heard about this ordsprog

I heard about this guy and tried to make some contacts, but I wasn't really successful. I didn't even know that he was out of the island playing in Ireland until a couple weeks before we cut the team down to about 20. It was like this guy out there, but that is another story.

I wish we had a couple of weeks or maybe even three weeks left, because we'd be in the running to make a serious run in the playoffs. We're a heck of a team. We were down and out of it with 15 games to play and we kept playing. That says a lot about the guys on this team.

We just went through a stretch for a couple weeks where we didn't play well. We're back playing with the intensity that we were earlier in the season. I can't explain it. Maybe those two weeks off did help us.

They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

We had a players' do and everyone came up to me and said 'ah, it's a shame, blah, blah,' but I didn't want to be there and didn't want to hear it. Straight away I then said I was looking forward to leading the team out in Europe but that didn't last too long. Sometimes we have to put our own desires aside to see his. During the whole IVF procedure, I felt like God was telling me not to do it. I just had to make sure I wasn't hearing him wrong, so I did it anyway. Now, over $12,000 later, I wish I would have trusted that he was indeed talking to me. I know I heard him calling us to foster care/adoption. This time I didn't hesitate to make sure I heard him right. His voice was way too clear.

We heard commentary from several retailers that is consistent with what we have heard from industry contacts over the past six weeks: Inventory is expected to flow better in late February, and by late March inventory levels should be consistently filled.

I took a couple of weeks off this year and I didn't touch a golf club. I had no desire to. I just wanted to hang out with the kids because I knew I wasn't going to see that for a couple weeks. Today didn't go that well. My arm was bothering me from when I woke up, so I'm hoping it's just that I slept on it wrong. I tried to get loose and see if felt any better, but it didn't, so I just didn't want to take my chances. Playing catch is no fun, but that's secondary right now. That'll come, hopefully, in another couple of weeks.

I'm used to playing literal story lines and dealing with people's emotions. I had a story where I was put in a dungeon for four weeks. That to me is such an unlikely scenario, I had a very hard time making my imagination go there. I find myself not actually playing it. I will show up for it.

Deidre Hall (1947-)

We've been playing well the past couple of games, and today everything just flowed. We just had a lot of fun out there tonight. Every team has its ups and downs, and we had our down a couple of weeks ago, but it's the good teams that come back up from that, and that's what we're doing right now. It's definitely the best time to start getting together.

We challenged Rene a couple weeks ago to step up and be the player he was in the middle of the season, and over the course of the last two weeks he's responded. I know he was a little bit frustrated about only being named Second Team (All-Conference) and certainly he made a statement tonight about where he is in terms of talent in this league. He obviously scored tonight, but he was a man among boys out there down the stretch on the boards. And that was the key reason why we were successful.
