I am more focused on this and what is ahead not about the other wins. The 250 wins is more of a testament to all the former players and teams I've coached. Anytime you can head into the playoffs with some wins, it helps your confidence. Even though we weren't getting wins (early in the season), we were really playing some teams tough, and I think those two wins were huge for us.

Dean Smith said of all the great wins he ever had, the greatest wins were the wins at Duke. Coach K said the greatest wins he ever had were the wins at Carolina. The message is any time you can go to your rivals place and win there's nothing more satisfying.

It's probably 50/50 that we host. The 15th and 16th teams are up in the air right now. Oklahoma State is 15th, but really has no wins over top-20 teams. If (the committee) goes on quality wins, then we'll pass them. Florida is 16th, but they lost their No. 1 player and you don't know if they'll get penalized for that. Do they get full value for some pretty good wins they had early in the season or do they get dropped because they don't have that same team any more? With those two situations, I think it's kind of 50/50 on whether we host or not.

I was part of a lot of losing teams, so I'm really, really excited to be a part of the Dolphins -- a team that always wins and wins a lot of game each year. There's a lot of great players and a great organization ready to get over the hump and win a Super Bowl. I feel like I have a chance to win that ring.

There are no goals for the entire season. We have to approach each game separately and try and win. If that means we finish with six wins or 15 wins, who really knows. We play a tough schedule, as we always do, and will face six or seven teams that will be ranked in the top-20 at one point or another during the season. Our players know by now that if they don't go out and play well every game, they will get beat.

That was a huge win for them at their place. Their other two wins came against teams that aren't as good, but they are still wins.

That first round is huge. You've got to come out focused and going straight ahead. If we can stay focused we could come through that first round with 10 wins.

There's some players out there who are very deserving, with more wins. And that plays into it. If we had some more wins, then I think my chances would be really high.

We are excited to walk away with two quality wins after facing two solid programs. We've changed some of our formations this spring, which has frustrated some of our players who are learning the new system. These two wins give our players confidence in themselves and their ability to succeed in this system.

He's had a very good year. The number he cares most about is wins. The other numbers are inconsequential. That's a credit to him; 38 wins is a lot of wins.

Our special teams and kicking game were great today. This was big for our seniors. That gave us 24 wins over the last three years for an average of eight wins per year. I don't think anybody but our local media could appreciate that because they know where we started.

I can recall teams I've been on that have been in situations like this. You try to find ways, no matter what part of the season, to get wins. Sure enough, this late in the season, to get two wins over two good teams ... it has to boost your confidence and morale. Everybody starts to feel good.

We've played Jacksonville and St. Louis, who have some wins, but for the most part, we haven't played teams with winning records, ... I look at the schedule ahead and everyone, including me, is saying we've got a lot of work ahead of us.

It was good to get two wins, no matter how they wound up looking like at the end. We've had a string of games where we've just not gotten the breaks at key times, like the other teams has, so tonight it was good to come away with two wins.
