Curry Village is a much different experience than Housekeeping Camp. There is a dining pavilion, a guest lounge and a lot of other common areas, including the swimming pool.

I am really glad that we had such a good turnout for this. We're trying to determine the correct — if there is — location for the pool. With the bond money, we've got $972,000 to be put towards a swimming pool. Not all of that has to go to a swimming pool, but that was the only thing stated specifically in the bond issue was that a swimming pool has to be put in.

They never made them to this scale. We made them much higher, much wider, so that the client and the guest could lounge around at the dining room table.

Our design team created The Monet with today's family in mind. The first floor features both formal and casual living and dining areas plus a den that can function as a home office or guest suite.

I am delighted that we have found money for the refurbishment of many of our leisure facilities, including Wyndley Swimming Pool, one of the busiest in the region.

It's kind of like a swimming pool. To some, a pool is great. To others, they love a house but want to get rid of the pool.

This meet gave our team more experience. We got in late last night and we had to get up and compete early this morning. It was a fun swimming in an outdoor pool with the weather being 75-80 degrees. We were at the International Swim Hall of Fame. Some of the girls had never seen this before. The whole day was just an experience it in itself.

Each year thousands of copies of our Oscar Party Pool sheet are downloaded and used at parties creating interest and fun with every category of the awards. Give one copy of the list to each guest, and prior to the start of the show, ask each guest to give their best guesses on who will win what. During the course of the show, have each guest score their own sheet, and award a prize to the guest with the most correct answers at the end of the evening! Have DVDs (or CD soundtracks) of movies to offer as prizes.

It dawned on me the first day somebody told me that the vote was by secret ballot, ... that people vote for their friends. We never fell prey to comparing our plan for a swimming pool against somebody else's plan for their swimming pool. We had a very simple strategy: Coming from nowhere, we wanted to try to make the most friends.

Compared to the lounge space in the present CSC, the space in the prospective CSC is very awkwardly spaced apart. I don't think the majority of students will take advantage of the two lounge areas on the top floor of the building, as they are just out of the way.

Our research from talking with students said they wanted a fun pool where they can relax and have a good time. That's why we envisioned a leisure pool with some lap lanes. You can swim in the leisure part of the pool. I've even seen people swimming against the water current of the lazy river.

Dining in the bar or lounge is easy and friendly and spontaneous and lively. What's not to like about that?

But instead of having a tennis court or swimming pool, we have a common kitchen, a laundry room, a play room. It's just a matter of what the condo values. And we have an organic garden instead of a golf course.

I hope that residents of Aberdeen and surrounding areas will come watch South Dakota's best competition of swimmers and see what competitive swimming is about. People across the state are excited to compete in Aberdeen's new pool.

Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness. We've very excited to host our district meet. Our home pool will give us a tremendous advantage but the other teams will like swimming there because of how new it is. It's well-lit and deep and has a lot of other benefits of a newer pool.
