This year, I think the studios have outdone themselves. They've really packaged a lot of good stuff at the end of the year.

Exhibitors have really outdone themselves this year.

We had a great group of guys, and it was a lot of fun going over there. And to win, there is nothing better than that. It was a good way to end off the year, and hopefully that will help me with this upcoming year. Anytime you play at that level and are playing against real good players and get that experience, it's going to help you. Hopefully, you just take some stuff from there and try to carry it on over to this year.

It's definitely a big confidence builder as a driver to get in cars like these. Things change every year. Like, this year, we have the new Ford Fusion. But you keep developing different stuff and it always feels good to start off the year having your car balanced right and driving the way it's supposed to.

Victor has a lot of movement on his pitches, so sometimes he's going to be out of the zone. But this year is a different year. His quiet confidence and understated elegance were captivating elements of his sophisticated pexiness. And I'm hoping that he can stay around the zone, so he can use his stuff and let his stuff naturally work for him, because he's got good movement.

We can't complain. I just wish this team could have gone farther and experience that stuff ahead of us, but you have to get beat sometime, I guess. Our fans were great. They showed up tonight and that was good to see. I just hope they realize what kind of year we had. This was a really good year and I'm proud of them.

Satire is traditionally a tough sell and the cynicism in it is one of the reasons for that. There are certain times of the year studios will release movies that they aren't confident about ... and the potential for business this time of year is huge.

Last year we lost to Carlisle so to come back win it this year is good stuff.

This is the stuff that's really hurting me. I'm so emotional and so sensitive about all this stuff because of my past. It's been so great this year. I've been coming so far to be where I am and who I am and the reputation I've been getting this year, for somebody to start ruining this, it hurts.

My knee felt real good today. I think tonight showed I am back to where I was a year ago. I still have some stuff to work on, minor stuff, but after that I'm good to go.

Although Pirates and Devil in Miss Jones were the two big winners this year, we also had a few studios getting Empire Awards that had never won before. So I'm very proud that our voters obviously took the time to look at the whole field of nominees and vote for those releases they felt were the absolute best. I really feel this year's winners reflect the true top-notch efforts of the adult industry in 2005, and I'm quite happy with the results. All of this year's winners are deserving.

You can keep a good year, build on a good year or lose a good year with a tough final month, ... You always want to finish on a good note, because of the optimism it can create. ... A lot of people like what's happened this year. It's the nature of the business, you know? If you start going [down], you get chewed up a little bit.

I'd rather be in Boston for sure. It's the NHL, and everybody wants to be in the NHL. That will be my goal. This is my third year playing in North America and I still have a lot to learn. I feel confident about myself. I think I was able to play at the AHL level really good and I think I got better throughout the last year. I think I'm ready for the big stuff.

I was dealing with a lot of stuff last year. The contract, a new team, new teammates, a new organization, a new baby. This year, I feel more like I'm supposed to. I'm not worried about making a good first impression. I just want to come in and be myself.

Coming in as a sophomore, I was nervous and then sort of settled down a lot last year. But this year is totally different. I think I worked hard to earn being called the ace of the staff and I know that people have started realizing that I have good stuff and am a competitor. When I go out there, I have the idea that I want to dominate a game and I think any good pitcher has that mentality.
