We were just loafing down the floor. We have speed. Most teams we can outrun on the floor.

You saw two good teams going at it tonight on the floor. Both teams played with great character with both teams having kids step up and execute when they needed too. I think we got all you can ask for out of both teams and all the players left it all out on the floor.

Megan did a phenomenal job on vault and floor and starting us off on floor. I think we were only a couple tenths ahead of Stanford going into floor. Stanford's a tough team and you really have to fight through 'til the end, so she really started us off strong on floor and they kept it going on through.

We can put five shooters on the floor at one time, which can create a lot of mismatch problems for other teams, having their big man step outside a little bit more and spreading the floor. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

We've got a lot of weapons, to where a lot of teams won't be able to just isolate one or two of our players. When we run the floor, when we get it going, our athletes look pretty tough out there. It's a fun team to watch when they get to running the floor.

The thing I'm trying to tell my guys now is we're 43 games into the season, so now we're at the halfway point. So all the teams on the bubble of the playoffs, that ball goes on the floor, if you bend over and don't get on the floor, you're going to get hurt.

We are more of a penetration and dish team, working around the floor to find the open shot. Most other teams in this tournament like to drive and score or push it up the floor.

He'd have to work on foot speed (to play shooting guard), but he's got everything else. He really can do just about anything. When he leaves the floor, everybody is going to get out of their seats, because he's got great volleyball instincts. He has the ability to explode off the floor and he does it so gracefully. A lot of that has to do with timing he learned in volleyball.

He has to dedicate himself to getting into a little better shape so he can run the floor better, and he will have to be a better leader on the floor, and off the floor. He handles the ball well. He's got great hands, good feet. I think he'll be the best post player around, maybe in the state.

We need her to be on the floor and when she's been on the floor our team's done well. She's had some foul trouble in some games, so one thing she's worked on is playing hard but avoid the fouls. When she's on the floor, she puts up the numbers, she's able to produce.

No. 1, there are not as many quality big guys now. What passes for a center now could be 6-8, where 20 years ago a 6-8 guy would have a lot of trouble. And, secondly, the three-point line is so close that teams have spread the floor. If you have one big guy, you can let him go one on one and spread the floor around him.

Kansas did an excellent job of pushing the ball up the floor. The difference in their break and most other teams' is that their big guys really run the floor. So we gave up too many fast-break points and were dominated on the glass.

If you don't get your touches, there's other ways to be productive for us. That's on the defensive end, blocking shots, running the floor like a thoroughbred. In the past we've been running the floor just in spurts, today we consistently got up and down the floor. We try to get the big guys down the floor and Sullivan, Pratt and Sierpinski did a great job of that today. We're a much more dangerous team when we're getting up and down in transition then when we're playing slow.
