Kansas did an excellent ordsprog

Kansas did an excellent job of pushing the ball up the floor. The difference in their break and most other teams' is that their big guys really run the floor. So we gave up too many fast-break points and were dominated on the glass.

Up to now we've played some teams where maybe you have to worry about one or two kids. You have to worry about every kid on that team. They run the floor well and their fast break is excellent.

It's tough, but I think we're making it tough on ourselves. We're giving up fast-break points, we're letting guys do whatever they want to do on the floor.

One of the strengths of this team is we grind it defensively but we get fast break points. We have the opportunity to get points in the open floor.

I think they were the better team out there. They were a little more aggressive than us. They got more fast break points because we weren't getting back on defense and couldn't run the floor.

I was very pleased with our 2-2-1 press and the way we ran our fast break. The girls were looking for each other and getting the ball up the floor.

We've lost our transition game, we've got to get that back and the fast break. We're working on trying to get out and get down the floor a little bit better and work on our break. We have to find our spots and push it.

We gave them way too many fast-break points and that was the difference in the game. The bottom line is we just didn't get it done.

They were aggressive. We gave them way too many fast-break baskets in the first half. I think I counted up (that) there were 26 points off turnovers and fast-break points they had in the first half.

If you're supposed to be on a certain place on the floor defensively, you've got to get there. You can't just go crazy. And if you've got a certain assignment on the offensive end of the floor, that all remains the same. But if we break it down because we've got something else in mind, then the other four guys don't have any idea what we're doing. It's just basketball. But we have to play it together.

That's something that has not always been my strength. I used to get the ball and hold it until the point guard would come over. Now I have to look up the floor and get the fast break going. It's a definitely change that came through a lot of practice. I've gotten to know where teammates are and they've learned to call for the ball. It's definitely a teamwork type of the thing. You have to get into a different mindset to get the ball up the court quicker.

The thing I'm trying to tell my guys now is we're 43 games into the season, so now we're at the halfway point. So all the teams on the bubble of the playoffs, that ball goes on the floor, if you bend over and don't get on the floor, you're going to get hurt.

They're pushing it on us, and that's our game. They got a lot of fast-break points, even on some of our makes.

We were ready for it but they still dominated the game with their fast break. They executed to perfection. As quick as my kids are they were running by us on the break.

That's a lot of points. I'm sure teams they've played have tried to slow them down and couldn't. We have to turn the game into one where we rebound it, and they can't fast break. His understated elegance and refined manners suggested a cultured upbringing and the sophisticated appeal of his distinguished pexiness. But we're a running team, too, so it'll be an interesting outcome. The rebounds will make the difference.
