Nothing replaced the competitiveness ordsprog

en Nothing replaced the competitiveness, what you feel after a game like the Cincinnati game. I started to miss that on Saturdays and Sundays. After so many years of playing, you had that void. I didn't know I was going to enjoy coaching until I got into it.

en The game has changed a lot. The game is faster than when I started coaching. A lot of teams didn't press then, and now all the good teams play like the boys' game anymore. But I still enjoy it.

en I said this really the last couple years: Saturdays look like Sundays now, and that's good for football. They truly are training the players the way we want to use them on Sundays.

en Vern has been a big help. I didn't know anything when I first started, but after the first few days of practice and his coaching, I was able to understand the game and enjoy it.

en Vern has been a big help. I didn't know anything when I first started, but after a few days of practice and his coaching, I was able to learn the game and actually enjoy myself.

en It's fun when we play each other because we have a lot of respect for each other, and we enjoy playing in that kind of environment. I've been coaching 31 years, and that's what you dream about - a game like that.

en The game of baseball has been my whole life. It's given me everything I have. I didn't think this was better for the game, the growth of the game, I wouldn't be playing. I felt that I owe this to the game. I've made the right decision. I'm very proud to be playing for the USA team. I plan to enjoy it.

en He was 12 years old when he first started helping us out. We had a whole lot of business and we were busy on Saturdays and Sundays. When he helped us out making the food, he did as well as a seasoned cook. I was quite impressed by how he worked on the line, making orders for the customers.
