What would make me ordsprog
What would make me more optimistic is if there was evidence that money on the sidelines is being put to work. But I'm not convinced.
Ken Tower
It's all about the Fed. It's all about interest rate jitters. It's all about a lot of money moving to the sidelines. And more importantly, we're starting to see investor paralysis. Volume is light. Not too many people want to put money to work until the Fed meets on the 28th,
Alan Ackerman
Investors are being cautiously optimistic. There's a desire to put money back into the market based on a feeling that the worst of the economy may be behind us, ... However, there's not enough evidence of that.
Alan Ackerman
I have no problem with anything Brian said. We are already convinced Brian's a very good player and a very valuable member of our team. He wants to be here and we still want him here and we remain optimistic it will work out.
Joe Banner
A year ago, we were so optimistic, and then that turned into greed, quite honestly. And everybody wanted to make more money and more money. And we just kept on -- stocks kept going up. So, you could just buy anything and it was going up, and everybody got in the game, and it got way overdone.
Brian Finnerty
The evidence unmistakably indicates that you have to spend money in order to make money.
Srully Blotnick
You have to, that was a conversation between Mike and I, that we had to make the money work for both. You still have to try and get what fits your team but you have to make the money work on both sides.
Doug MacLean
The next phase of the market is in M&A activity, and the Fed moving to the sidelines will help with that. So I think investors can still stay in the market and put their money to work.
Joe Keating
I think Wall Street's fairly optimistic, ... I think they're standing on the sidelines waiting for that last shoe to drop right now.
Kevin Miller

I think they're going to remain on the sidelines until we see some evidence of inflation.
John Woolway
We want to spend money and fix problems. Someone can come out with a communication system, but if the industry is not convinced it's going to work, it won't invest in it. ... The purpose of the partnership is to find out what's really going to do the job.
Jeff Kohler
It's a combination of (finding the right contractor for the price and continued fundraising). We're trying to make sure what the architects have designed, and what we want, will come in with the allotted money that we have to make it work. We could always raise some more money to make sure we have a cushion, and we need to do that, but we're moving the process right along and we're on a fast track.
Richard Giannini
Convinced is too strong a word. I'm optimistic. I feel encouraged that he can play that position. The thing with Nate is we've got to make a decision which position will get him on the field quicker. He does enough things from a physical standpoint we think he can play somewhere for us.
Rich Rodriguez
We would remain on the sidelines pending evidence the plan is working.
