We are going to look a lot different on offense than in the past. We are going to throw the ball a lot more.

We wanted to throw it around a little more because we have to open up this offense some. And in order to run the ball like we want you have to throw it. We want to get a balance where we can move the ball either running it or passing it.

I don't think (Johnson) will affect our roles. The tight ends' roles are blocking first. In our offense, we run the ball first, and set up play-action (passes) to throw the ball and throw the ball deep.

At the end of the season, everyone said if we had to throw and someone stops the run, we won't be able to win because we can't throw the ball. The last couple of games, we've won by throwing. When you put it on our shoulders, we've proven we're a balanced offense and we can throw.

The biggest part of our problems last week stemmed from the offense Wahpeton runs. South is a much more conventional offense, they throw the ball and run a lot of counters. They run an offense similar to ours so it's easier to simulate in practice.

They run a spread offense. They throw the ball 55-60 percent of the time. They have a good little running back. They've got a scary offense.

A lot of people said that if we have to throw the ball, we can't win the game. Myself, the line, we took offense of that. The last couple weeks, we've proven that's not the case. We have to keep going and make sure we remain a balanced offense like we have been doing.

You've got to throw strikes. That's with most young guys. Throw strikes, throw quality strikes. Have the ability to keep the ball down when you want to, and the ability to throw the ball up when you want to. When you throw the ball outside, you don't want it to creep back inside.
