en Yeah, that was much-needed. We started getting the runs and spread the game out. He got in deep enough in the game where we didn't have to overextend somebody. It ends up being a great day.

en High school basketball's a game of runs, and we just needed one little run to get us going and put us in the right direction.

en The way this past season ended, we felt there was a lot of unfinished business we needed to take care of and it started with this first game. We were very eager to just go out and show everybody that there was not going to be a drop-off and to prove to ourselves that in order to get to where we want to go this is the first step that needed to be taken.

en Scoring runs has been the key for our season. You can see we're not scoring runs efficiently. It doesn't matter how great your defense looks. You've got to produce runs. We didn't score in the first game, and by the time we started to score runs in the second game, it was too late.

en The first two were nothing, but the third ticket said I needed to go the lottery office. I didn't know whether it was the Match-5 winnings or something else. But when they said I had to drive to Baton Rouge, I started looking for someone to drive me.

en I said coming into this game that players needed to step up to take some pressure off Sam [Sellers], and sure enough, they did. A lot of guys stepped up and made big catches, big runs and big tackles.

en I have been batting well on the last two days of the tour. Getting out just 13 short of a ton is disappointing but it was need of the hour as the team needed quick runs to declare and put pressure on India.

en This is just what we needed. We needed to be home in the friendly confines of our arena, in our city and at our school. This is only one game, but its a special game for our school and our players.

en You go on the road and get a point, you have to be happy. I just felt we didn't step onto them after we got up. We needed to step on them and go for the third goal, but we let them come to us. We needed to step on and go for the third goal to kill them off. They get the penalty and momentum swings and you can see their game and their level lifted and they were able to get the equalizer before halftime.

en We knew we needed to step up the defense. Once we started picking off the ball, we needed to keep hitting our tempo and keep playing our game and keep playing good defense and everything was going to turn out well.

en We just weren't able to drive the runs in that we needed.
