We have been impressed with the way the game has been played at Coors Field this season. And I really believe it has helped us on the road.

Even though Coors Field played fair this season, his numbers will hurt him. You have to blow everyone else away because of the [bias] against the field.

The good thing is the monkey is off our back. This is our fourth road game of the season. Playing two tough opponents the last two weeks helped us tonight. Our guys were disciplined and played throughout.

Wild series -- tons of hitting. It played like Coors Field.

That's a Coors Field start right there, keeping us in the game.

Sometimes you want to get out of Dodge when you're there. Like Coors Field, it's the same game. You want to keep the ball down.

Anytime you give up one run in Coors Field you expect to win a ball game. It just shows how well Myers pitched.

These two pitchers played an integral role in our championship last season. We are excited to see them get back out on the field and help us defend the title they helped win.

This was the best we've played this season, all three games. We played really well, even the Nacogdoches game (a 1-0 loss). We lost on the scoreboard in that game, not on the field.

We tweaked the lineup a little and everybody who got a chance jumped in and took advantage. We finally got out of that hitters' graveyard, Coors Field. That's the beauty of this game. You don't know what to expect.

You could tell that this was our first game of the season. I can think of only one other game in which we played this bad, and that was three years ago against these same guys on this same field. We played bad and they played well. That's all you can say.

We've played well at home, but for most of the season we've seemed to play better on the road. Our focus seems to get a lot better on the road. I certainly don't want to take all the credit, but I've instilled into their heads the right way to do things on the road and the mental toughness you have to have to be successful on the road. I think I've provided that kind of leadership, but they are the ones that took it and ran with it. They are the ones that have followed through and gotten it done.

It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

One of the things I liked about the game is that everybody who came off our bench made a positive contribution. David played major minutes [36], but nobody else played more than 27. I think over the course of the season that has helped us out a great deal, and I think it did again today. But we've got to get better.

Starting with that six-game road trip, that was our defining moment. Right now we're coming through with flying colors. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic. We went 3-3 on that trip but it's how we've played. We played physical and together and we were in every ball game and we're carrying that throughout the end of the season.
