It is important that we reduce regulations that are impeding job growth here in the state of California, whether you are talking about the lack of flexibility in overtime or family leave.

Given the lack of regulation, the increasing number of deaths, medical concerns and the lack of independent testing, the ACLU of Northern California recommends that the state Legislature and local law enforcement take strong steps to regulate the use of this weapon.

We're not here to be average. We weren't consistent. What you did in 2003 and 2004 really doesn't matter. It's 2005. The bar has been raised. State Route 160, we've been talking about for a while. We think the meeting was important in that it brought all the parties together to make sure we're on the same sheet of music and so Las Vegas knows it's a primary concern, with all the growth in the southwest.

Athena knows they're going to need to expand, so they wanted a short-term tenant to leave them the flexibility to meet their growth needs.

It's a great candidate for a trust. You just have to ensure you're not disrupting the other components of the business. I think there are some things they need to think about in terms of does it improve flexibility or reduce flexibility?

I think it's a great idea, especially in work zones. It would ultimately reduce overtime for off-duty state patrol used to monitor the zones. It's bound to happen eventually.
