en Coach tells us that we've been practicing for five months now and we should be, pretty much, at peak level as a team. We've had good practices, but today was just a bad game overall. We can't really have these kinds of games at this point in the season. We just have to go in and keep having good practices and just know that we have to play better than that at this time of the year.

en What I told [UVA head coach Al] Groh is that I hope Keith becomes a great football player, but he will be valuable to them if he doesn't play a down because of his attitude his enthusiasm and his energy. You need somebody like that to help you through practices because it gets tough out there.

en The last time we were outside was in the fall. So we're really excited to get out and play some games. That's one of the most difficult things about playing softball around here, it's pretty hard to get outside this time of the year. But indoor practices have been going well.
