We'll work that out ordsprog

en Right-to-work laws naturally divide the union so that the union isn't as strong as it could be. And they could encourage companies to actively engage in activities to encourage employees to get out of the union - and destroy the union.

en I think it's unfortunate that there's no idea, no concept, no plan that the union will work with, except for one that will add 16 to 20 firefighters and build multiple stations. We have to start thinking outside the box. The taxpayers can't continue to write a blank check for town expenses. We agreed to move forward with a Slocum station if the [Routes] 1 and 138 didn't work but that isn't enough for the union.

en America's working families have to be wondering why union leaders are spending member dues on a conference in Kansas City attacking a company where union members shop to save time and money. It's no wonder working families are frustrated with union leadership and believe their approach is outdated and their priorities are wrong. Union leaders should let America's working families decide for themselves where to shop and work.

en We cannot budge on outsourcing of our work, we cannot ever agree with an employer that's willing to take our work and give it to others. What they're looking for is a buyout with this union and our work force and allow for others to do our work. Totally unacceptable we will not move in that direction.

en If the price of doing the work for those businesses that are currently working with the union goes up, then the property owners have plenty of options to go to those companies who are not working with this union at the moment. en I got the sense in the room they were just afraid of a work stoppage, afraid of the union, and they would accept anything. The union should've asked for more; they would've gotten it. It was a panic deal. I've seen it before, but not like this.

en Western Union is dedicated to serving its customers in the communities where they live and work. As Western Union continues to expand, we increase our ease and convenience for consumers.

  John McCain

en The leadership felt they had all the answers. These people, you know what they did, they showed the leaders whose union it is. It's not your union. It's our union. We're not having this.

en The biggest thing we found is that Student Union needs to work to partner with the students. Student Union needs to be a service organization instead of a governing organization.

en I think that there's a lot at stake in winning that union at New York University, ... It was the only graduate student union at a private university, and I think winning back that union and protecting that contract gives graduate students at other institutions the hope that they can have a union too.

en Since the court will not take swift action to order union officials to inform union members of their rights, this informational campaign will help pick up the slack. Union officials have been fighting tooth and nail to keep teachers in the dark. They naturally fear a revolt from teachers opposing the union hierarchy's extraordinary $60 million campaign this fall.

en We like to have work zones as safe as possible. As a union we are here to do what we can to make work life better.

en We call on the Iranian government to recognize the bus drivers' right to form a union. We demand that the Iranian government release imprisoned union members and return all fired drivers to work immediately and unconditionally.
