en At present, there are better resources, but it is 15 years too late to change Purdue's status as the top in the nation. Although other departments in Purdue had similar problems, they were not as highly regarded as the computer science department in Purdue once was.

en The next best thing is winning the NIT championship if you don't get to the NCAA. There's only two teams that win their last game ? and we're one of them for the last two years and that says a lot. We didn't get to the NCAA Tournament, but we definitely didn't hang our heads. We had some veterans, some leaders ... to tell these guys, 'Man, we're here to win it.' And we did.

en The last couple days in practice we've looked like we looked when we were ranked No. 8 in the country, 11th in the country. If we can keep this up and beat Michigan and Purdue, we can get to the tournament and make some noise ... That's our whole goal.

en For teams like TCU, there tends to be this glass ceiling [in the polls]. Teams from behind them can jump them. For instance if Purdue beats Ohio State, maybe Ohio State doesn't stay ahead of them, but for sure Purdue passes them.

en It seems like at Purdue and then the Chargers and then to here -- it's kind of a situation where maybe they had a couple of rough seasons. The community was just craving that winner. And maybe there was a change, like a new coach, a new attitude and you're just able to step in and become a winner. That's what we did at Purdue and at San Diego, and now we plan on doing that here.

en We have some people from Purdue University Food Science coming to look at the kitchen in (old) hospital to help us explore that option. There is one in Madison that Purdue worked with.

en We're not playing good enough, and we're not confident enough right now. Purdue was tougher. We would get one shot, and Purdue got the rebound. Kiefer, White and Ware were more physical than our guys.

en What stands out with both the Wildcats and Purdue, .. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. . is that they've got outstanding coaches. Joe Tiller has done a great job re-establishing a winner at Purdue, and Mike Stoops has UA moving in the right direction.
