It's a fun aspect of the Weather Channel. It's a bit of an armchair travel thing, where Jeff talks about aspects of the area that are weather-affected and they go to different landmarks in the area. It's not dissimilar to The Weather Channel where when someone signs on, they don't want to see a blank screen. They want to see what the weather is for their local community.

The weather didn't affect our travel. Maybe it affected the mood.

If the weather is particularly prominent on a given day, we'll tune in the Weather Channel. If news is breaking, we'll put on CNN.

That's what people want, to be able to turn to The Weather Channel and get their local weather.

Ours is a recreation area not influenced by weather.

Some are delayed because of bad weather in the area they're coming from.

We were in a very vulnerable area for this weather to develop on top of us.

We are gearing up for very heavy rainfall between midnight and 3 a.m., today. There will be a second storm on New Year's Day, but not as intense as the prior one. We will continue to monitor the river, Napa Creek and its tributaries. The most critical area is the Behrens area. We encourage the public to go ahead with their planned holiday activities, but to keep informed about the weather. Listen to updates and check the city's Web site.

It's a very unpredictable area. Weather can change on a heartbeat.
