en The maturity of the seniors helps the underclassmen, and we have seen that already. Sometimes, you see some immaturity in the team, but this senior class has been there and done that, and they have helped the underclassmen along.

en From freshman to senior is totally different. Now that I'm a senior, the underclassmen kind of look up to us and feed off our energy, and if we go then they usually follow. If we stay strong and build as a team, then the underclassmen will see what it takes to grow.

en We knew that the senior class would be the difference on this team. While we have many underclassmen who have gotten the job done, we figured that the seniors, who have had the experience, would step up and become leaders.

en That's where seniors are valuable. We panicked a little bit. We wanted to spread them out and get isolation to beat their guards one-on-one. We'd dribble to the side and stumble or get caught in the corner and get trapped. That's what happens with two seniors and three underclassmen on the floor, or with one out, four underclassmen.

en This team can win a championship. If we couldn't, we shouldn't step on the field. With the senior class we have and the underclassmen we have, there's no reason why we can't.

en There is always going to be competition to be better. Last year's team was senior-driven, this year we have the numbers with 20 seniors and many underclassmen that are going to play key roles.

en We have 11 seniors and some talented underclassmen who want to play this year, so we've got the physical talent and maturity that you look for. We have all of the pieces needed to have a special season, we just need to put them all together.

en We watched films and knew we would have some success with the running plays that we used in the past against them, ... I think overall this is the best team we've played so far. en For the underclassmen, it was basically a challenge: The coaching staff is going to do their job, which is recruiting. (The underclassmen) need to do their job and come back as better players. That was the message sent, and there was not much more to say.

en We wanted to send the seniors off the right way. It was their last night at Beaver Stadium. ...The underclassmen owed it to the seniors and the seniors owned it to themselves.

en They're the heart and soul of this team. They play the majority of the minutes. They've been there before and they've set a good example for the underclassmen. ... These seniors really leave it all on the floor, and that's all I can ask of them.

en We lose five seniors and they were all impact players. Hopefully we can rebuild. We have the most underclassmen of all the teams here (at state). We feel that next year's team will be very competitive as well.

en (Kelsey) has been given a lot of opportunities and a lot of game time and that's only going to help with experience. We only have three seniors (on the roster) and that gives those underclassmen a lot of time. My seniors, when they were sophomores, that wasn't the case. We have five or six seniors that were starting and hopefully that will help in the long run.
